Week 1: RC Car – Build & Race (6/15–6/19)

Campers will build a real, hobby-grade RC car from the ground up using the Tamiya TT-02 platform. Students assemble the chassis, drivetrain, steering, suspension, and electronics, learning how mechanical and electrical systems work together to turn parts into a fast, controllable machine.

Once the cars are complete, campers learn how to drive with precision and confidence, then take their builds to the park for testing, tuning, and racing.

The final day is all about upgrades and personalization — campers modify their cars to improve performance, durability, or style before one last round of driving and competition.
